That all depends on your requirements, projects can scale from hours to months. For example, if you require some coding on an already exisiting project, that may take a matter of hours to develop and implement, however, if we are asked to design a corporate website from the ground up, the process can take months to ensure that all aspects are working effectively.

A lot of web design companies will charge a fixed rate for everything! At Fivebyte, the price we charge depends on the work we do, we do not have a fixed rate for everything because not all aspects of web development are the same. Typically, we charge an hourly rate for things that will take a matter of hours, for example, if we are developing a piece of code for an existing site, this would take a few hours, so, we would charge a rate of around £10 per hour taken to develop the code. But, if we are working on a complete website design from scratch, the process can take months to complete, therefore, the costs would rocket to an unfair price, so we normally charge a package price for projects like this, which ALWAYS works out a LOT cheaper!
